Today I saw our newborn Elephant calf for the first time (born last week). It was difficult to get any pictures of the little one, because the cows surrounded it at all times.
Wow, a week old! You were so lucky to see this and get such a great picture.
Thanks, you really got this little one’s photo…precious!
Christian,How excited you must be to see all these new little ones out and about!! It would be awesome to be able to see them grow, and observe the teachings from thier parents as they are raised to adults in the wild.Theres nothing quite like it. Awesome memories!! Have a Great Day!
Hey Christian, sorry I didn’t catch you before I left. Here’s a shot I managed to get of the calf last Friday when it must have only been a few days old: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151214279441760&set=a.10151214253361760.505374.658281759&type=3 Amazingly cute! It fell over at one point and two adults rushed to help it back onto its feet 🙂
