Modern Bush Communication!

Imagine you are on a safari on Thanda. You enjoy the bush very much with all the wildlife and the beautiful scenery. But you feel a bit bad, because your grandma could not come on the trip. So she does not get to experience the beautiful vista with the Lebombo Mountains in the background.

Wrong!

These Swedish Thanda guests used their smartphone and a 3G connection (reception is available on some parts of the reserve) and connected to Sweden for a video conference with their grandma. They showed her the stunning view over Thanda and she enjoyed that very much. She even got to see the customary Gin&Tonic, to be enjoyed at sunset in the bush!

That is making good use of modern communication – even in bush 🙂
