Spend more time on Safari and fly to Thanda

Wouldn’t you prefer to spend more time with us than getting to us? We thought so and have linked up with Federal Airlines, SA’s leading safari carrier, to offer guests the option of flying to Thanda from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo terminal, shaving hours off usual transfer times. And with spectacular views from your aircraft seat, your African adventure starts before you have even landed! You can marvel the changing South African landscape as you fly, glimpse down at small villages below and even catch some animal sightings as you approach to land. Whilst we wait for our own airstrip to open, guests will be flown to Phinda Airstrip where they are met by a Thanda representative for the short drive into Thanda Private Game Reserve.
