High Speed!

After an exciting day with excellent Lion and Elephant sightings all the Thanda Villa iZulu guest did not expect anything else on the way back to dinner.

But only a few hundred meters from the Villa iZulu this Leopard was lying on the road. After a few minutes of looking at this magnificent cat it moved off into the bush. And a few seconds after that move we briefly saw and heard this night-active predator chasing an Impala through the bush.

As it was already night and we did not want to interfere in the hunting process we left the area and returned to another special Thanda dinner!
