Mid-air turn!

We are constantly being captivated, and at times even baffled, by the extraordinary behaviour of the African wildlife we see every day at Thanda. We therefore felt it would be fun to share some of these interesting facts, peculiar habits and down-right bizarre occurrences with you on a regular basis.

This week’s ‘Weird & Wonderful Animal Fact’ is about Cheetahs. They are the only big cat that can turn in mid-air while sprinting. Have you ever seen a Cheetah u-turn before?
