Advanced Land Rover Training

Last week our guiding team hosted a very special visitor. A leading 4×4 driving instructor and global trainer for Land Rover and Jaguar, Chester Forster, stayed with us providing our guides the opportunity to enhance their driving skills. Ranked #1 in Land Rover’s 2003 Camel Trophy (now called the G4 challenge), Chester gave a series of classroom seminars and on-vehicle practical training. The following collage captures some of the day’s activities.

Every day Thanda’s experienced guides and trackers take guests out on game drives in our custom-built safari vehicles. These game viewing vehicles are revered by our guiding team as, driving across multiple terrains on and off road, they have been able to provide our guests with the chance of witnessing some of the greatest wildlife moments of their lives.
