The Moon and a Lion

When the light becomes marginal and when it is hard to see anything with the human eye, a camera can accumulate light and turn the night into day. This shot shows one of Thanda’s male Lions watching a herd of Buffalo under the rising moon.

After about 15 minutes without any lights our eyes adjusted to the scene and we were able to observe this magnificent male as he started stalking the Buffalo.
