Friendly Rhino?

Black Rhinos often seem to have a ‘friendly’ expression on their face when one catches them eating leaves and branches. But one should not be deceived. These amazing creatures react to unknown sounds and smells with an ‘agressive inquisitiveness’. They are very short-sighted and often cannot see the object of their attention until it is too late to avoid a collision. So it is very important to treat Rhinos with respect. The knowledge of the individual animals with their specific temperaments makes it possible for the experienced Thanda guides to provide excellent and save sightings.
