What a sighting for New Year’s day!

Thanda Safari’s Elephants showed themselves from their best – and well behaved – side during the game drive on New Years morning.

First, one of Thanda’s six ton Elephant bulls walked quietly within a few meters past our game viewer, …

… followed by the whole herd walking down the road towards the Thanda Safari Lodge waterhole, …

… and then all of them had a drink and a bit of a bath, …

… before the biggest bull posed for an iconic shot in front of the Thanda Safari Lodge reception building!

What a way to spend New Year’s morning!
