Mamas on the way …
Many guests enjoy learning about the Zulu culture and the Zulu people while they are staying at Thanda. They can visit a local Zulu homestead and experience how modern Zulus live in rural areas. This guest activity is called “In the Footsteps of the Zulus“.
Traditional dancing and singing is part of the rich Zulu culture. Zulus love to perform not only for the enjoyment of tourists, but as part of their own holiday, family and community celebrations.
This picture shows a choir of Zulu Mamas (=married ladies) in their traditional attire on the way to the Thanda Safari Lodge to perform for the Thanda guests a few of the songs which are part of such celebrations.

Hello Christian, I am sure their singing must have been beautiful, how about a video for us blog followers?
Thanks Wendy – I will make a plan :-), but it could take a little while.
